Eligibility & Admissions Process
The First Step Into the BLAST Experience
Enrolling your child in our after school and/or summer program for children aged 6 through 13 is a wonderful opportunity that should not be missed. With a seamless eligibility and admission process in place, we make it easy for parents and guardians who are working or in school to ensure their children receive quality care and education.
By attending our open house, you can get a firsthand look at the fantastic facilities and learning environment we offer. Don't hesitate to complete the necessary forms and request an interview to take the first step towards securing your child's spot. Our dedicated Admissions Counselor will schedule an interview that includes both the parent/guardian and child, ensuring a personalized and welcoming experience.
Upon acceptance, a letter will be promptly sent your way, detailing the good news. We look forward to welcoming your family, providing a smooth orientation, and setting the start date for your child's exciting educational journey with us.
Enrollment Procedure

Parents and guardians, ensuring your child's safety and well-being is our top priority at the Center. We kindly urge you to complete the necessary forms, such as the:
- Enrollment Application
- Medical & Emergency Information Consent Form
- Immunization Form
- Child Guidance Form
- Authorization to Administer Medication
- Safety Procedure Form
- Transportation Form
Rest assured that all information provided will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the Center's purposes. In order to facilitate a smooth transition for your child into our program, please remember that submitting the Application and Health Form is mandatory before your child can officially join our center.

For families requiring flexible arrangements, our Hourly Care Service caters to children needing intermittent supervision, subject to space availability. To secure a spot, parents are advised to reach out daily, particularly on days off from school when care is not guaranteed, underscoring our commitment to prioritize your child's comfort and safety in a nurturing and adaptable setting.
This helps to avoid any late fees that may occur, if your child is picked up later than 15 minutes from the BLAST After School or Summer Program.
Transportation

To ensure that every child has the opportunity to attend these enriching programs, BLAST Youth Center made a thoughtful decision to provide transportation as requested by parents. The center believes that transportation should not be a barrier for any child eager to learn and grow.
Parents who need transportation assistance for their children simply have to fill out a form indicating the pick-up and drop-off locations. The arrangements are efficiently coordinated by a dedicated team at BLAST, ensuring that every child was picked up and dropped off safely and on time.
